4 Hours later, and here we are arriving just in time for our last minute 3:30pm appointment at Subaru to get the 1000 kilometer service. Not bad, $100 and we are comfortable knowing the vehicle looks to be in great condition still…lol.
As we were driving to the dealership, we pass the Information center and wine building. So our first stop after the dealer was to checkout our wine tour options.

After our tour was booked, we made our way to the HI-Penticton Hostel. Perfectly situated near all the major streets and food places. We had to wait 30 minutes to check-in, but at least there was free parking in the rear. The smell of people cooking in the kitchen was making us hungry. We grabbed some left over beer from Ainsworth, and started looking up places to eat in the area.

We settled on a nearby joint called Burger 55. It’s in a back alley just off Front street in what looks like an old automotive repair facility. The concept is fairly simple yet complex. You fill out a form describing the perfect burger. From a wide range of patty choices, buns, toppings, fixings, and an arrangement of custom sauces, you would always get exactly the right meal your looking for. Jenina went with a Ahi Tuna patty which was as large a 4 finger steak! Robert went with the traditional bison patty which was super juicy. Overall, Vancouver needs one these places!
